I was saved when I was 8 years old! God knew I would really need him early in life. I grew up in a very dysfunctional family. My older sister was an addict and she died at the age of 39. I knew I had to share with others how Jesus helps you through these painful times.

One day, I went to a small church in my community where I first meet Steve Austin. I heard his testimony on the very first visit and wept because we were never allowed to share what went on at home. And there was a man speaking boldly about his addiction, and I knew that this was where God wanted me to be.

Not long after meeting Steve and his wife Michelle, 180 Degrees Ministries® was founded. My desire was to be involved. I wanted to give to others what God had given me, hope and healing through him.

As a result, I started taking classes through the National Christian Counselors Association and have now become a certified Temperament and Pastoral counselor. One day, I plan to finish school and have a master’s degree in counseling! I am so blessed to be a part of this ministry and I look forward to helping God’s people find out who they are in Christ!

I was placed here for God to fulfill His plan through my life!

Is to help the hurting and bring others to the saving knowledge of Christ and the freedom within Him. Isaiah 61:1-3

My personal philosophy in life:

Jesus is the only one who can provide everything you need to survive in this world. His word is true!
