Brandi Arrington Kennedy

Husband: Ryan

Children: Sean

I have been involved with church and ministry my entire life. My mom had always taken me to church and talked about God.  I knew at nine that God was speaking to my heart. I was saved and baptized and began the journey of a life with my Creator. Things weren’t always wonderful, of course, and many obstacles appeared throughout high school and college.  But, I had a strong foundation and my Christian faith and walk has always been there.

I began working with our youth group at church and I loved children and teenagers. During college I had some major turn of events and the plans I had made for my life were not God’s plans. I felt like I was starting over and seeing things in a whole new light. I was chosen to become a staff member of a Christian youth camp and that was where it all started. After my first summer, I knew God had great plans for me and that He wanted me to be in ministry – I just had no idea how.

In pursuit of God’s calling, I moved to Tennessee and again my life was turned upside down and the things I had expected to find were different. I still knew God had called me to be a part of His ministry but I didn’t think it was a reality anymore. I met Ryan and we began dating in July of 2005. He introduced me to 180 Degrees Ministries® and I finally felt like God was about to show me what He had called me to do. Over the past two years, doors have opened for me and I am so excited about what is coming!

My favorite scripture:

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4 Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1: 2-4 (NIV)

My personal purpose statement:

To trust in God and see His vision for my life!

My personal mission statement:

To know and teach the truth of God wherever He leads me.

My personal philosophy in life:

Life is full of ups and downs, but God stays consistent

throughout the ride!
